Meeting with Minister of Auqaf and Religious Affairs

Mr. Jafar Ronas, Cultural Attaché and Director General of Khana Farhang Iran-Lahore attended the 24^th Death Anniversary Ceremony of Pir Syed Hafiz Irshad Hussain (ra), father of Pir Syed Saeed ul Hassan, Minister Auqaf and Religious Affairs Punjab on Friday December 10, 2021.

In a meeting with the Minister, Mr. Ronas stressed the development of religious relations between the two countries and the development of religious tourism between the two countries.

Different religious dignitaries from around the world, including Sheikh Abdul Rehman Abu Mustafa from Palestine; Sheikh Umar Uddoud from Republic of Sudan; Mr. Sheikh Khalid Al-Shami from Republic of Yemen; Sheikh Hamdan Abdul Razaq from Republic of Somalia; Mr. Muhammad Islam al-Rardeni from Jordan; General Sheikh Muhammad Mazan Al-Salifa, Dr. Ali Al-Lais, Dr. Amjad Al-Bazli from Republic of Yemen; and other elites from various Arab and Islamic countries.

Mr. Jafar Ronas while referring to the role of mystics in the spread of Islam in the Indian subcontinent, especially in present-day Pakistan, said: "The ups and downs of the world do not deceive believers and saints. Their hearts are free of love of this world. They purify their souls from attachments to the material world, and achieve that level of spirituality where they just desire to continue their journey with new energy and higher expectations for their eternal home, the immortal world.”

Before the beginning of the ceremony, a formal meeting held among Mr. Jafar Ronas, Pir Syed Saeed ul Hassan and other representatives of Islamic countries. Different issues of interest, especially the importance of Muslims solidarity, unity, harmonization and need for mutual coordination among different Islamic schools of thoughts, came under discussion.
