Weeklong Iran-Pakistan-Turkey Calligraphy Exhibition and Workshop ended at Alhamra Arts Council Lahore

A weeklong Iran-Pakistan-Turkey Calligraphy Exhibition and Workshop, with all of its zeal and zest, ended at Alhamra Arts Council Lahore, on Tuesday November 23, 2021

The event was consisted of a Calligraphy and handicrafts Exhibition; workshop; calligraphy contest; cash prizes, medals, souvenir & certificates distribution ceremony.

Mr. Jafar Ronas Director General Cultural Centre of Iran-Lahore, the Chief Guest of the event; Mr. Irfan Qureshi, Secretary General of Pakistan Calligraphers Association and founding member of Aiwan e Ilm o Fann; Mr. Ijaz Ahmed Minhas the Director of Lahore Museum & Executive Director Alhamra Arts Council Lahore; Colonel Mass’oud Mazhar Secretary Aiwan Ilm o Fann; Sumaira Jawwad, Principal College of Art & Design, Punjab University Lahore; dignitaries and officials from different fields of life; calligraphers; artists;’ school children and renowned Pakistani media attended the ceremony.

It is worth mentioning that famous calligraphy artists i.e. Dr. Kazem Khorasani from Iran; Afzal ud din from Turkey; Mr. Irfan Qureshi, Mr. Khalid Mahmoud Siddiqui and Mr. Asghar Ali from Pakistan took special part during the Iran-Pakistan-Turkey Calligraphy Exhibition and Workshop and taught different strokes & forms of calligraphy to the learners.
