Strengthening the Iran-Pakistan Friendship and Post-Corona Tourism Development
Thirteen Pakistani motorcyclists from Cross Route Motorcycle Travel Club Pakistan, with the slogan “Strengthening the Friendship between the two Nations and Post-Corona Tourism Development”, started their 26-Day journey from the Iranian Cultural Centre in Lahore to Islamic Republic of Iran on Thursday; December 02, 2021.
Mr. Jafar Ronas, the Cultural Attaché and Director General of Cultural Centre of Iran in Lahore hosted the delegation’s departing ceremony. While appreciating and encouraging the delegation Mr. Ronas highlighted the importance of tourism in strengthening the bond between the two nations and said: “Iran has a special place in the world in terms of history, life traditions, cultural, racial and linguistic diversity.”
Mr. Mukarram Tareen, head of Cross Route Motorcycle Travel Club Pakistan, while referring to the memories of his previous trip to Iran, which took place in 2019 before the corona outbreak, and the persistent cooperation & efforts of Cultural Centre of Iran-Lahore said: “The Iranian people welcomed us so warmly on the way and in small and large cities that we again decided travel to this beautiful country with rich culture and ancient history.”
“Iran and Pakistan, which have a lot in common in history, culture, language and art, have a lot of potential in the field of tourism that should be identified and used optimally,” he added.
At the end of the ceremony, Pakistani motorcyclists, following a common and ancient tradition of the two nations of Iran and Pakistan, under the Holy Quran, began their long and difficult journey to Iran.
